Another interesting vending machine, but this one isn’t nearly as cool as the one that made me fresh squeezed orange juice. I walk past this vending machine four times a week, and every time I do, I want very badly to switch away and me around.
The most awesome vending machine in the entire world. It slices and squeezes fresh oranges right into a cup for you to enjoy.
Underneath that wrapping paper of a cover is a tree. It, like the other smaller trees in my community, has been covered all winter. The smaller trees have been uncovered, but this one still needs protecting from the cool nights, I guess. As soon as they unwrap it, I’m going to do a happy dance, as it will signify that spring is finally, officially here. And then, a week later, because it is what Shanghai does, it will be summer.

This is how I know spring is coming, even though she is taking her nice sweet time getting here. In my community, they wrap the trees during the winter. Now that it is getting warming, the tree’s winter coats are coming off.
I took a picture of this at the Roxette concert because I thought the colors were pretty. With the lights on, it looked like a space craft was hovering over my head.
