Meili is happy with her new home.  It took her awhile to get used to it.  I swear that it looks like she is smiling.

It more or less means don’t kiss me.  It caught my attention because, well, look at the picture, and you’ll know why.  Strange, strange city or country or both, I tell ya.

A pretty tree fountain.  It can be found in Xujiahui Park.

 I almost didn’t see this kitty.  I was too focused on the sculpture above it.

Our awesome kitchen.  The only real thing that bothers me about it is the height of the counters.  They are really, really short.

Our not so beautiful home.  It’s kinda old, but it works.

Our bathroom. It’s small, but it has a bath tub.  A tub!  In my four years in China, it’s the first tub I’ve ever had the pleasure of using on a daily basis.  Before, if I wanted a nice warm bath, I had to check into a 5 star hotel for the night.  Those heat lamps are something else, too.  I’m totally going to dig them come winter.

Our bedroom. The mattress is really high because we put it on top of our landlord’s mattress.  There is a enclosed balcony over there to the right.
